The owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, found her injured catin the early hours of the morning.

“I banged on the window and thought he was okay, but when Istarted calling him later,he didn’t come.
“When I finally found him, he was just laying there (with horrific injuries).”
She said Howard was still alive when found, but was later put down.
“Of course it’s devastating because you just don’t expect it,” she said.
“He slept on the end of the bed with me and would walk everywhere with me. It’s a big loss for me.”
Tensheep andtwo lambs have alsobeen killed in past attacks in the nearby area.
Manyresidents believe a large dog is responsible, due to the specific injuries sustained by the animals.
